My husband, Mitch, and I always talked about owning a little mom and pop shop when we retired. One day it dawned on us, why not now? Months after giving birth to our daughter we started this shop. We have a huge vision for Patina + Peonies starting here on the internet with plans for growth and expansion while also focusing on raising our 2 kiddos. Our inspiration is simple - giving to others, family meals, playing outside, school spirit, southern hospitality, classic children’s toys, and game nights at home. We truly believe the simple things turn out to be the big things.

Lauren Stack, Owner
Lauren was born and raised in the Lone Star State. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Business Marketing Degree. She enjoyed being a cheerleader at Texas Tech and was inspired to join the fashion world while attending TTU. Beginning her career in Dallas, Texas at Neiman Marcus she learned the value of excellent customer service. While working at Neiman Marcus, Lauren briefly interned for RSC Productions learning about runway fashion and falling in love with the excitement of fashion shows. She went on to work as a stylist at New York Fashion Week and spent 7 years working in wholesale fashion in premier contemporary women's clothing lines, traveling to New York to show the lines to major retailers and international accounts. After coming home to raise her children, Lauren felt inspired to keep pursuing design and fill her creative outlet.
Lauren is inspired by celebrating simplicity and prefers classic and timeless yet fresh designs. She also loves the art of giving!
Lauren loves spending time with her husband Mitch. They starting dating at 14 and 15 years old, reconnected at 19 and the rest is history. They are blessed to have lived over half of their lives together and truly know everything about each other. Lauren's passion for her children dominates her life and that's exactly how she prefers it.
Jen Robinson, Florist
Jen is originally from the Boston area, but now resides in north Dallas with her husband and 3 kids. She started working at a family owned flower shop 17 years ago where she first discovered her love for flowers and design. After 5 years, Jen dove head first into the clothing retail industry working for Nine West, Ann Taylor, and now manages an Apple Store. What hasn't changed though is her passion for floral design - she has been hired for weddings in Texas, Oklahoma, and Massachusetts. Jen does other special events such as showers & birthdays, along with helping people cope during the toughest times in their lives, doing arrangements for funerals. Everything she does is custom made, so if you have an idea, preference, or vision, contact patina & peonies - we know we can make it a reality!
